Writer/Artist Billy Bredderman with his Way Out West band play and sing Alt & Nashville Country and appear throughout the Northeast United States.
William Bredderman, Jr.
has been a performing musician for 30+
years, appearing across the US with numerous bands. Since
1993 the Catskill Mountains of
Upstate New York have been home for Billy and his band
Way Out West. They tour throughout the Northeastern states.
Billy's song "You're the First One" received airplay
throughout New York in 1983. Since 1995 Bredderman has
concentrated on songwriting as well as performing and
wrote or co-wrote all the songs on Way Out West's 1997 CD
"Nothin' Left to Lose" (OverIt 1001).
Both "Don't Lose Faith in Me Now"
and "Just One Woman" were nominated for 1997 Song of The Year
by the Northeast CMA (Country Music Association). All the songs from the "Nothin' Left To Lose" CD
received airplay in the Northeast and "Find Somebody New"
found its way to Europe and received airplay there.
Billy and Way Out West are currently working on a new CD
to be released later this year. In addition to the band's
signature traditional country, swing, and cajun influenced
songs, the new CD will have several R&B flavored cuts as
well.
